Background: Each year, major pharmaceutical brands attend a variety of industry meetings and conventions to share the latest product innovations and research—and foster important relationships—with a targeted audience of healthcare providers, clinicians, and patients.
Challenge: When the pandemic caused cancellations of traditional in-person meetings and conventions, brands scrambled to pivot digitally. Most existing brand marketing materials—and the accompanying regulatory requirements—weren’t designed or optimized for a virtual-only meeting environment. With a need to quickly adapt, our pharmaceutical clients reached out to Alexander Health to strategize and produce their pre-, during, and post-event marketing communications in the most effective and efficient way.
Solution: Working closely with our brand partners, we created a digital-first communications strategy and identified readily available brand assets that
quickly could be adapted into virtual communications for email campaigns,
digital booth graphics, product collateral, and event presentations. Using our brand knowledge, efficient workflow, and Veeva submission expertise, we adapted materials that were designed to attract attendees and highlight compelling brand messaging, while at the same time could be routed through the internal review process quickly. These same assets were repurposed for other meetings and events.
Results: Maintained 100% of client’s planned meeting and convention schedule and presented engaging and compliant brand information in a new virtual meeting world.
